Bulkhead Improvement : Project #1
The scope of work for this project was for the replacement of an existing vinyl sheet pile bulkhead system with new steel sheet pile bulkhead system, including temporary wall termination and draining pipe outfalls. Also included: demolition, earthwork (excavation and back-filling), 500 CY of organics removed and 600 CY of new fill reinstalled. Cast-in-place concrete work included 300 CY of sidewalk, 480 CY walk cap. 48,000 SF of Sheet pile walls, helical anchors - 150 up to 250’ long drainage pile outfalls, 150 connections to existing structures, utility relocation, and 1,200 LF of new DOT handrails were also installed.
Concrete Bulkhead : Project #2
This work included the restoration of the unstable shoreline by the installation of new concrete panels, helical anchors, cap trench drain, bridge repair work including concrete removal and replacement, spaulding concrete repair, repair of existing light poles, removal and installation of new galvanized rail, sprinkler system repair, sod installation and wetland mitigation.
